Food is always amazing and vibe is great. DJ is always on point but music isn't super loud. You can still have a conversation with your peeps. I always have a good time. Best to reserve a table though.
My visit was definitely a experience, the dj was playing hit after hit, definitely playing to the audience. The environment when I walked in was inviting and a beautiful vision of black joy. I sat at the bar by myself, but there was little to know wait around 2:00pm on Sunday. I ordered a Honey Suckle Mimosa and the Cassie's Friend Chicken (Fried Chicken and Sweet Potatoe Waffles) *no you can not substitute waffle for anything*.
I received my drink fairly quickly *not cold* however the bartender forgot to put my food in. For me I wasn't angry I came to enjoy the experience, and I wasn't bin a rush. Once she realized her mistake (1 hr+ later) she took care of my food and gave me a shot to apologize.
Once I receive the food it was hot and delicious, I received one large waffle and 4 little chicken that were friend to perfection. The food was good, the service was good(apart from the mishap), if I was going out with my girls... I'd come back for a good time.
I am here again! This time on a Friday night the food is delicious once again. Chicken & Waffles plus the skillet cornbread. The vibe is always good!!! Love the music too. The servers were friendly and spot on with their recommendations!
This restaurant was such a vibe on Sunday from the music to the food. The chicken and waffles was so Delicious. The hostess and waitress was friendly. They did temperature checks at the door. I will be going back and the wait wasn’t long.
