    Food coma guaranteed

We had some time to kill before our flight and made the trip out to Brick & Spoon. The waitress was great and the food was excellent! The beignets were so good we didn't even get a photo. We also had the fried green tomatoes, and the killer omelette. The omelette could have used some more shrimp for the price. Overall we loved this place and would definitely come on a regular basis if we lived near by.

    Top notch!

I took my two young daughters (9 & 6) out to eat there for brunch. This was our second time dining at the restaurant. I love to support black-owned. The first time I tried to go was on Mother’s Day and the line was too long, so we left. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was great & the restaurant was modern and clean. I was pleased with the customer service as we were seated promptly. I liked the menu items and options for the kids meals. Our server Trinity was so nice and pleasant. She was very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. She really made a connection with my daughter as my oldest’s name is also Trinity. My daughters even asked for hugs from her upon leaving and she obliged, smiling even through her mask. The price was fair and location is prime. I appreciated the patrons and could sense the pride there. I wore my ‘Defend Black Fatherhood’ shirt and got many compliments there. Parking could be a bit better but overall, I loved the dining experience. Keep it up Brick & Spoon!

    You won't be disappointed!

I first tried this restaurant on a whim, as an ending to my husband's birthday weekend. We ordered several different dishes and were very pleased with EVERYTHING we tasted. My favorite were the breakfast tacos, and my husband enjoyed The Killer Creole Omelet. The drinks are also on point! They take each patron's temperature before allowing them to dine inside, and outside seating is also available. The music is smooth and the ambience is cool and laid back. One trip was all it took to make this one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend!

The most amazing restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. And it’s black owned. The French toast was perfectly cook, bacon on point, and mimosas flavorful. Dope vibes and great music. Love this spot.
